Course for Lviv Polytechnic National University staff with the participation of HERE team (01-03.10.2020)

A course for Lviv Polytechnic National University staff “Improving teaching skills” was introduced.

The course is built on a modular structure and aims to improve teaching skills through the implementation of active learning methods, development of blended learning skills and use of information technology.

The program of the course is focused on modern principles of quality assurance of education and combines 4 modules:
1. The basic principles of the modern system of higher education.
2. Modern IT competencies in the work of freelance teachers.
3. Professional communication of the teacher: psychological and pedagogical principles.
4. Media literacy and international communication.

Speakers of the first module “Basic principles of the modern system of higher education” (1-3 October 2020) were HERE members:

 Svitlana KALASHNIKOVA (“Development of the educational program: policies, framework, algorithm, participants, results”);
 Yuriy RASHKEVYCH (“Standards of higher education, programme learning outcomes and learning outcomes of the course”);
 Volodymyr BAKHRUSHYN (“National Qualifications Framework, education level, competence approach, student-centered learning”).
